Puerto's Cinca Costera

The Oceanfront Boardwalk - is more or less 1/3 done. Now they have stopped working on it, because the workers haven't been paid. Materials are there to continue, but it looks like they already ran out of money … or it's gone.

Besides not even building it the way the architectural plans show, there's are no entries from the walkway to the beach.

Also they forgot or just ignored the fact, that in the rainy season, the water coming from the land will be dammed by the construction. Will they find a solution or just doing it the Panamanian way and simply ignore it - who knows …

We will see what comes next with the focus on the elections next June. Who's gonna be mayor and what will he/she do. Is the money is gone ? Will it be finished ? Lots of question, no answers yet. We'll keep you posted.

Mid Feb 2024 … Construction work started again. Mostly done past Big Daddys.
